Spring has sprung and it’s my favorite!! If I could be outside all day everyday I would…and basically am. Give me some sunshine, water, and a good book and I am one happy girl.
In the spring/summer time, my favorite things to take on a picnic are simply fresh fruit and veggies! Biting into a crisp cool grape as it bursts into your mouth on a hot sunny day, is there anything better?
So here is what’s inside my picnic basket. Fresh mangos, grapes, pineapple, strawberries, cantaloupe, and some cherry tomatoes and baby pell peppers to dip into my hummus! I like to keep things simple. But for the days when I am wanting a little more, this > Chickpea Salad < is my go to picnic sandwich. It’s simple, vegan, and delicious.
But what I really want to talk to you about is THIS gorgeous spring maternity dress from Pink Blush Maternity! I have pretty much been living in denial and have, more-or-less, refused to give in and get any maternity clothes until now. And now all I can think is “what took me so long?!” In my defense though, all the maternity clothes I had seen seemed frumpy and unappealing. This dress, however, is the perfect combo of comfy and flattering. It’s perfect for an outdoor picnic or a fun brunch out with the girls. I’ve only had it a week and have already worn it three times…sooo…yeah.
Now the only problem is I want to go back and buy all the things on their sight! Everything is so cute and stylish, I would honestly wear this even if I wasn’t pregnant! YAY for stylish maternity clothes! Praise the Lord.
I think next I’m going to go back and order this cute little dress and go trot around the farmers market like a preggo boss.
